After Ecology Action left Berkeley for Modesto, in June 1970, the organization did not waste any time getting back to taking action for the environment. They got right to work. This time Ecology Action began a weekend recycling program in Modesto, California at 1203 Tully Road. This document highlights Ecology Action’s commitment to the ecological cause, one aspect of which was its commitment to spreading the word about its efforts.
