In this flyer, Ecology Action thanks the public for their continuous encouragement and participation, while asking them to write to Berkeley Mayor Warren Widener to support the development of other recycling centers.

Ecology Action felt overwhelmed by the amount of recyclables they were getting, and declared that they could not do their job as well as they aimed to because of it: “We don’t enjoy the noise and crowding and confusion any more than you do.”

Ideally, they wanted a relaxed space where they could talk with each individual who recycled about why their efforts mattered. 

Hand-drawn graphics break up the text of the document and complete the charm of this Ecology Action document. Long, wordy documents and speeches were to be avoided — less was more.
