This page is from a letter written by the Advisory Board in 1985-86. The report indicates that during those years, the number of students with learning disabilities was increasing. These students required accommodations from the DSP, but in order to receive accommodations they had to first be tested for “learning disabilities.” According to this report, students themselves had to pay $200-$400 for a “baseline” test. The DSP did not have the funding to pay this fee.
