The AIDS crisis played a large role in uniting previously distant parts of the queer community. This is particularly highlighted in this flyer, as lesbians are acknowledged as being a key element of the support for the crisis, despite being the community statistically least affected. The dire circumstances promoted solidarity and alliance within the community, and the Pacific Center was critical in facilitating this.
