A photo by Cathy Cade from the 1977 San Francisco Gay Freedom Day in which a group of “Lesbians of Color” represent the Pacific Center in the parade. While the Pacific Center had a particular focus on Gay Men in the East Bay at its inception, by the late 1970’s there was a notable expansion in representing and serving communities of diverse intersectional backgrounds.
