As he worked more on the Rag Theater project, Nacio Jan Brown experimented with shots that were not simply straight-on portraits, adding more diagonals into his compositions. This shot—of three young men taking in the street scene across from Moe’s, with the back end of a motorcycle looming relatively large in the foreground—comes from his later work on the project.
