A tremendously influential voice in both feminism and the Black Arts movement, Elizabeth Catlett, naturalized citizen of Mexico, would come up to show her art at Rainbow Sign and then head right back to Mexico. Catlett’s trust and appreciation for Mary Ann Pollar paved the way for many other pivotal artists to find their way to Rainbow Sign.
